File This Under "Awww": George Clooney and Amal Just Adopted a New Pup
The A-list couple join the long list of Bravolebs who have opt to adopt not shop for furry friends.
Congrats! George Clooney and Amal are officially parents...to a shelter dog named Millie. The glamorous pair adopted the four-year-old basset hound mix from San Gabriel Valley Humane Society in San Gabriel, Calif. Adorable photo evidence of the family's perfection can be viewed right here.
As it turns out, this isn't the first rescue pet for the Hollywood couple. "They were searching for a basset hound and saw Millie’s picture on Petfinder," according to the shelter's site. "They did a ‘meet and greet’ with her and spent time introducing her to their other rescue, a cocker spaniel named Louie. It was good news that Millie and Louie hit it off and the happy, new family headed home together!"
Amal and George are certainly in good company when it comes to how they welcome pets into their family. Just like many Bravolebs, from Josh Altman to Fredrik Eklund to Joanna Krupa, they adopted their furry loved ones.
