What's Fredrik Eklund's Most Prized Possession?

As one of the top agents in New York City, Million Dollar Listing New York's Fredrik Eklund knows a thing or two about luxury. And now he's using his passion for high-end items to high-kick his way through Bravo's latest digital series, Ka-Ching!, which puts a spotlight on the finest things the world has to offer. And, as Fredrik tells The Daily Dish, this is nothing new for him as he's always had a taste for the finer things in life.

"Selling the most expensive real estate in the world for 13 years in New York, one comes across all things luxury and very wealthy people with very wealthy habits," he said. "And I always said since I was a very young boy, before I even moved to New York, I always felt — and I write about that in my book — like a citizen of the world. I am Swedish, I live in New York, but I get inspired by all things luxury and globally."

The 12 episode series focuses on a number of luxury items — from pricey shoes to even pricier cars. And Fredrik was drawn to the series' fast-paced and somewhat quirky format. "I always loved the format from the very beginning when we started chatting about it," he said. "I'm actually kind of surprised that there isn't such a show out there that covers everything luxurious and expensive and beautiful, so that's what we wanted to do and that's what we did. It's quick. It's fun. It's digital."

So what does Fredrik love the most, out of all the awesome items he has at home? Well, that answer is actually kind of heartwarming. "When we were filming Ka-Ching!, I always had this dialogue with the producers... as much as I'm obsessed with the luxury and the items and the material, expensive beauty, I wanted to also weave in [my dogs] and I talk a lot about my naked, sexy husband, Derek, 'cause I wanted it to be personal," he explained. "As important as these expensive items are, [I] put it into perspective when it comes to emotions and love and what's also really important, which is family. So I guess my answer to the question is the most important thing I have is Derek. That's the anti-answer to the Ka-Ching! materialism."
