Fredrik Eklund has had a banner year so far this 2014—and now he's revealed that his team at Douglas Elliman has racked up more commissions this year than anyone else in the company's 103-year history.

"It's an amazing company that keeps renewing itself over and over again," he wrote on Instagram. "So I want you to know you are following not only the number one agent in NYC, but the number one agent in NYC this century.

Behind every great man is a great husband—and Fredrik is especially thankful for the support of his beau Derek. "He is just amazing giving me business guidance in all of this and the charities we support, so down to earth and grounded when it comes to the larger, difficult decisions, you know the ones that really make us propel to the next level (always challenging in the moment but define us long term)," he says. "But most of all thanks to New York, you crazy queen of all cities for making me continue realizing all my dreams with you."

Today is a big day! We found out that my team has closed more commissions this year than anyone has ever done in the history of the company: Douglas Elliman... which was founded year 1911 and today is the largest firm on the East Coast with over 5,000 agents. Of course anyone who follows Fredrik on social media can keep up-to-date on all the big deals that helped him and his team secure that title. The same day he announced the achievement, he also revealed two more big deals on Instagram.

Fredrik has spent 2014 updating followers on all his big deals on Instagram. Here's a smattering of some of his biggest deals.

Back in October, Fredrik shared some photos from one of his many hot properties this year. "Love doing off-market deals," he wrote. "Like this $4M beauty in the one-and-only 250 West Street, selling an apartment immediately without having it even hit the market. #TheSell"

And then there was that major deal back in September. "$11.75M more in contracts SIGNED at the one-and-only 290 West! #weeee" he Instagrammed.

As early as January 6, Fredrik was already hard at work. "High-kick to 2014!" he said. "I'm a New York City boy at heart!"
