Million Dollar Listing New York is officially back, as our favorite Big Apple brokers kicked off season 4 last night. Naturally the guys had to host an open house of sorts—in the form of premiere parties. But who knew there'd be some friendly competition involved in the celebrations?
Fredrik Eklund had plenty to toast—not only with the return of MDLNY, but the debut of his first book, The Sell. The launch, hosted by Gilt City, featured the opportunity to "soak in Eklund's presence while snacking on hors d'oeuvres provided by a chic Italian restaurant." Nice! It also had a Q&A session with the Swede, and the chance to get your copy of The Sell signed.
But since Fredrik and Ryan Serhant love nothing more than a little competition, the silver-haired agent threw his own soiree at swanky Marquee in Chelsea. The exclusive event was attended by over 1,000 clients, colleagues and friends. Guests got to enjoy an open bar (and bottle service if you were upstairs), along with pulsing DJ music and scantily clad ladies gyrating on-stage.
So what about fellow realtor Luis Ortiz? Every the diplomat, Luis attended both parties and celebrated his co-stars equally. He first attended Fredrik's book signing but followed it with a nightcap at Ryan's rager.
