On June 29, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Adrienne Maloof had quite the scare when a fire broke out across the street from her house, at co-star Lisa Vanderpump’s former home.

"I looked and saw smoke and I thought it was the barbecue. But all of a sudden the smoke got heavier," Adrienne describes the alarming scene to People. "I ran to the front and looked out of my front and Lisa's [old] house was on fire. I went back and started screaming 'Oh my gosh, we've got to get out of here!'"

More than 120 firefighters battled the blaze, which Adrienne says escalated at frightening speed. "The sky went from light gray to dark grey to black and massive flames within seconds," she tells the mag. "Helicopters and fire trucks and firefighters came rushing into the neighborhood. The fire was so close to our gate that I could feel the heat on my face. I was coughing, the kids were crying… I went into mama gear and I got the kids, the dog, the cat and we went to my mother's house."

Upon hearing the news, Andy Cohen reached out to Giggy's mistress, tweeting "@LisaVanderpump sad to hear about the old house! what memories..." Responding to Andy and others, Lisa tweeted, "Thank you for your concern, fire in these hills are always very worrying, fire department did an excellent job, hope the injured officers ok." Later she updated, "This morning I spoke to @LAFD the firefighter is fine and at home, remember possessions and houses can be replaced, people can't.:)" Well said, Lisa.
