Fire Breaks Out at The Brownstone

Holy smokes! It was a scary situation for the Manzo clan last night as their family business, The Brownstone, caught fire. RadarOnline reports a kitchen fire ignited the blaze, which took firefighters two hours to contain. 

"Thanks for your concern everyone @thebrownstonenj fire is contained no injuries back to business!" The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Caroline Manzo tweeted. Daughter Lauren echoed a similar message to her followers: "Yes there was a fire at the brownstone just now but it Is out and everyone is safe!! Thank u for your concern!!!"

Always the jokester, Christopher Manzo tweeted (presumably not in his Cajun accent, but we don't know for sure), "The Brownstone is fine thank u for asking, can't leave that place for a second."

In fact, the flames did little to dampen the family's upbeat spirits Tuesday. At the time of the fire, Caroline and crew were attending the star-studded Samsung Hope for Children Gala in New York's Financial District; although Lauren Manzo wondered how her fam landed on the A-list guest list. "Regis named ppl here and said, Demi Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Kevin Jonas, Joe Torre, John Legend, & the Manzo family- it was actually funny," the makeup guru tweeted. "He also named Bill Clinton, Rachel Ray, giants players, jets players, why are we worthy of being here?!"
