With new information coming out every day about the coronavirus, many people are on alert and trying to protect themselves against the virus. This includes The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills friend Faye Resnick, who just revealed she also dealt with a serious virus back in 2019.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Faye shared on Instagram, "I stopped shaking hand[s] last September after a virus that was so rare inundated my lungs and almost killed me. After being sick for 2 weeks I was rushed to the emergency ward at Cedar Sinai Hospital for 2 additional weeks. Once they released me, I had to stay home in bed for [an] additional week."

She continued, alongside a photo of a person washing her hands, "All these new virus are so scary! Now, I greet people I meet with a gracious bow and wash my hands 20 times a day."

And she has the support of friends, who completely understand her reasoning for avoiding handshakes. Kyle Richards gave her the raised hands emoji, while her sister Kathy Hilton sent the clapping emoji, both in the comments. Khloe Kardashian also commented, "I love you so much!!! A gracious bow is perfect!"

Faye is not the only Bravoleb giving her thoughts on the coronavirus: The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Joe Giudice has shared his opinions as well.
