Exclusive Blooper Reel: Curtis Stone Can't Get His '80 Plates' Lines Straight
The host sure knows his food. But line reading? Not so much this time.
When it comes to tagliatelle or paella, Curtis Stone knows his stuff and can rattle off facts and opinions like a true seasoned chef. Reading his Around the World in 80 Plates promo lines, however, can sometimes be a bit more tricky.
Because it's not fair that Curtis gets to deliver the criticism without taking a little ribbing himself, allow us to present a recent reading he took a crack at in Italy. Perhaps it was the scent of rosemary in the air, or a little too much vino during his stay, but for some reason, the Emilia-Romagna promo he had to plow through just wasn't clicking. Italian pronunciations, sentence structures -- they all seemed to tie Curtis' tongue while his pal and co-host Cat Cora giggled her way through his woes.
And in case Curtis' bloopers have piqued your interest in the Emilia-Romagna region, put on your traveling pants and get a guided tour through the foodie-famous capital city of Bologna in our "Off the Beaten Path" series.
