Erika Reveals the Moment You May Have Missed in Kyle and Dorit’s Argument: “Don’t Do That”
Erika Jayne is shedding new light on Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley's explosive argument over Kyle's texts with Paul "PK" Kemsley.
On Season 14, Episode 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley had an explosive argument over Kyle's text messages to Paul "PK" Kemsley amid his separation from Dorit. But what didn't we see during the major confrontation? Erika Jayne broke it down during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, and wasn't shy about revealing unseen secrets.
Although the argument did not turn physical, Erika noted that there was a moment where Dorit's body language caught her by surprise. "[Dorit] did lunge. I was there. I was surprised that Dorit moved her body forward. I was like, 'Don't do that. Stop. You have to stop that,'" the Broadway star explained. "There is a place where there's no return. I'm not saying it's that, but it's real close."
Kyle, for her part, thought differently about the situation. "Oh, it's that," she said.
Garcelle Beauvais also chimed in to say that she had never "seen anything like" the argument that night due to both Dorit and Kyle's intensity in the conversation. Jennifer Tilly added, "I've never seen them in such a rage, ever."
What was Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley's argument about?
The argument originally started because Dorit found out Kyle had been texting her estranged husband, PK. However, Kyle maintains that they were simply exchanging memes.
"I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and give her a chance to tell me, rather than me make assumptions," Dorit said in the video above.
But that did not happen. And Dorit was "very surprised" by both Kyle's answer to her query and her reaction to it.
"Once again, her thinking that she can just scream at me. And in that moment I was like, 'Oh, you have no idea,'" added Dorit. "I will f-cking scream right back at you. This is not a tactic that's going to work anymore, and I needed her to know that. That's why I got activated, and I would do exactly the same thing today. And tomorrow. And the following day."
In fact, Dorit was so surprised with how things went down that it made her start reassessing the situation. Had she missed something, and were the texts more than just simple memes as Kyle had claimed?
Kyle Richards reflects on her argument with Dorit Kemsley
Despite the drama, Kyle said she has a feeling Dorit didn't actually care about the texting. More so, she claims Dorit just wanted a reason to justify the way she was treating Kyle.
"This is a perfect situation for her to zero in on," she added. "I have been asking her — because she would not take accountability for her actions towards me — I kept saying, 'What have I done to you?' And she kept giving these blanket, vague answers. She didn't have one thing that she could actually point to. And I said, 'I've been telling you, you did this, this, this, and this.' What did I do to deserve those things?' She couldn't give me an answer. So all of a sudden a month or so later, she comes up with this one."
Dorit's take on the situation?
"It's deflection," she said of Kyle's thought process. "Oh, please. 'You're just looking for another reason to get mad at me?' It's all so ridiculous."
