Erika Girardi Shares One of Her Favorite Photos of Her Son

Pay attention because Erika Girardi has just revealed a new fact about her life as a mom: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member's son is now an adult, but she shared an adorable childhood photo of Tommy, as well as the sweet backstory that goes along with it.

"I took this picture on New Years’s Day in Tanzania years ago," the mama otherwise known as Erika Jayne recalled on Instagram. "This trip was one of our favorites. Travel with your children, show them the world."

In an interview with The Daily Dish earlier this season, she shed some light on what kind of mom she was to Tommy when he was growing, noting, "There wasn’t a lot of free[dom]. I believe in rules and I believe in, you know, constantly having those followed."

While Erika mostly keeps her son's photos off of social media, she has slowly began sharing more of him on her Instagram feed — including earlier this year when she posted a photo of Tommy today all grown up. She noted in the caption, "People say we look alike."

Shortly after sharing the photo, Erika explained why she posted it, noting she's a "proud mom" and that she was feeling "maybe quarantine crazy" when she shared it back in May.

We are not only learning more about Tommy, who is her only child from her first marriage, as of late, but during Season 10 of RHOBH, Erika also shared a bit more about her relationship with husband Tom Girardi's adult kids. "I got very lucky that Tom has really nice kids... and I'm their age," she said.

Tom has also been there for Tommy in the role of a stepdad. "That's the one thing I loved most about Tom, when my son was younger, was that he welcomed him with open arms," Erika recalled this season. "I'm very thankful. That's my guy."
