Erika Girardi is about to inhabit a new role you've never seen her take on stage. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills performer, who frequently tours and sings as her fabulous alter ego Erika Jayne, has signed on to play Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical Chicago beginning on January 6.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

While at BravoCon, Erika confessed to Page Six that she was handling the pressure well now, but there might be some nerves to come.

“In this moment it feels great. Opening night I’ll probably vomit in a bucket off stage," she said.

The character of Roxie Hart is a nightclub chorus girl who becomes a housewife and killer, a role that Erika must be having a lot of fun portraying. It's a departure from her RHOBH moments, for sure.

“You cannot rehearse ‘Housewives,’" she asserted. "Let me say that again. You cannot rehearse ‘Housewives’ because it’s natural and in the moment. You can rehearse Broadway and that’s what we’re doing and that’s where all the hard work comes in for Broadway.”

Page Six also pointed out that fellow 'Wife Lisa Rinna played Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway back in 2007 — and she got to do it with hubby Harry HamlinNeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss from The Real Housewives of Atlanta have also played Mama Morton in the musical.
