After welcoming her first child with husband Ryan Serhant in 2019, Emilia Bechrakis is entering the new year with nothing but gratitude. In a recent Instagram post, the Million Dollar Listing New York mom reflected on her difficult journey to parenthood and the joy of their first year with daughter Zena.
Emilia and Ryan have been enjoying a dreamy beach vacation during the final days of the holiday season. Though the MLDNY couple has documented plenty of their heartwarming family moments on Instagram throughout their trip, Emilia posted an especially moving message of appreciation on January 2, just days after celebrating the new year.
“2019 brought me the greatest, life changing gift. After a long struggle we finally conceived our daughter Zena through IVF,” she wrote alongside a beautiful photo of her and Ryan sharing a kiss while holding Zena on a sunset-lit beach.
She finished off the caption by writing, “I wouldn’t change anything that happened or when it did. I have such gratitude for all the highs and lows because they led me to this.”
Emilia and Ryan have been open about their tumultuous road to having a baby, previously revealing that they struggled to get pregnant for three years before ultimately turning to IVF. The couple welcomed Zena in February 2019 and have shared glimpses of their first year as a family of three, including their first Halloween together and a video of the song Ryan made up for his daughter.
