Eileen Davidson Shares Heartbreaking News of Her Brother's Passing
The #RHOBH soap star paid tribute to her eldest brother John "Jack" Davidson in her weekly cast blog.
Eileen Davidson announced the passing of her eldest brother in her The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast blog on Bravotv.com this week. "I’m here with a very heavy heart to share the news of another beloved family member passing away," Eileen wrote. "Sadly, my eldest brother, John 'Jack' Davidson, left us suddenly last week at the age of 69."
The soap star described her brother as "a brilliant man." He graduated Cum Laude from St. Mary's College with a degree in chemistry and a minor in mathematics and served as an air traffic controller during the Vietnam War. John was a self-described "muscle car aficionado" who also loved athletics and earned a black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate at the age of 56. "John had a wicked sense of humor and a great love for his family," Eileen wrote.
John is survived by two children, seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. "He also leaves behind a loving extended family, a network of friends, and members of his community, who all share in the grief of losing him," Eileen said.
Eileen assured fans that she'll be back next week to blog about the latest RHOBH episode, but until then, she had a special request. "In the mean time, in honor of my brother, I ask whoever reads this to take a minute to remind someone important to you that you love them," she wrote.
Earlier this season of RHOBH, we also saw Eileen in an emotional moment when she scattered her late sister's ashes in Italy during a family vacation, which you can see in the clip, below.
