Dr. Jackie Walters Makes a Surprising Declaration About Her Engagement Ring (EXCLUSIVE)
The Married to Medicine cast member shared why she might be upgrading her ring from her husband, Curtis Berry.
Dr. Jackie Walters and her husband, Curtis Berry, have been married for over 20 years. Though their marriage is still going strong, Jackie's engagement ring might need an update.
"It's been 23 years. I think I need a new one," the Married to Medicine cast member revealed to The Daily Dish during a recent interview. "I've had the same ring for 23 years."
While Jackie thinks a shiny new engagement ring is in order, we can't help but fawn over her current ring, with a breathtaking emerald-cut diamond set on a diamond-encrusted band. As you can see in the photos below, Jackie wears her dazzling ring with another diamond-studded wedding band, enchanting us with several layers of bling. Considering this is the jewelry Jackie rocks on a regular occasion we can't wait to see what new accessory she may add to her collection!

Though Jackie is looking to upgrade her ring, she's perfectly happy with her marriage.
Back in 2020, the Atlanta doctor reflected on her 18th wedding anniversary with Curtis, sharing a tender photo of the pair on their wedding day in 2002.
"It’s been 18 years today, 4/20/2002 at 2pm and I wish I could say it’s been easy but it requires much prayer, counseling and forgiveness! We have learned to love in practical ways and talk about those things that can divide us," she shared in the caption. "We work daily to have kind words and gracious thoughts. (Psss...and some days we fail). We may not have it all together however working together we can have it all!!!"
In addition to her lovely caption, we were also impressed by Jackie's stunning dress: a simple, chic white sheath with a square neckline and dainty spaghetti straps. To top off her classically elegant style, Jackie clutched a bouquet of white flowers and wore pearls around her neck.
Curtis, for his part, was perfectly dapper for the occasion, donning a black, oversized suit coat, black trousers, and white dress shirt and tie. He punctuated the look with a white boutonniere.
How is Jackie Walters and Curtis Berry's relationship today?
Jackie again reflected on her marriage to Curtis during her recent chat with The Daily Dish, first acknowledging that her marriage "has required work" over the years. All the same, the pair still makes time to enjoy their romance.
"The fun part is just now we have time to hang out and do things. We have some interests together and that we're doing some work together," she shared. "I finally got Curtis in the gym a little bit, so we are connecting in ways that we haven't had time to in the past."
More importantly, however, is "being able to forgive" while growing older together.
"The secret is forgiveness. Just learning to forgive," she shared. "Talk about it, don't be afraid to have your own opinion."
