Dorit Kemsley Sheds New Light on Her Split from PK: "Sh-t Happens..."
RHOBH's Dorit Kemsley is starting to open up about her separation.
Dorit Kemsley is sharing some insight into what went wrong in her marriage to Paul "PK" Kemsley.
In case you missed it, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member and her English talent manager husband announced their separation in a joint Instagram statement on May 9. Now, Dorit is clapping back at fans questioning her previous statement that her marriage had never been better.
In the comments section of her separation announcement post (more on that below), a follower shadily pointed out a comment that Dorit previously made about her marriage improving.
"Wait I thought y’all were stronger than ever?" the fan wondered, referencing when Dorit said that her marriage was doing "better than ever" on Part 2 of the RHOBH Season 13 reunion.
Dorit responded, noting that the two had indeed been in great place before things soured again in her marriage. "We were. Sh-t happens," she wrote in a comment. "It’s called life — try it sometime. One day at a time."

Dorit and PK Kemsley's statement about their marriage
After celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary in March 2024 (and after welcoming son Jagger and daughter Phoenix together), PK and Dorit confirmed their separation on social media on May 9.
"We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage," the twosome wrote in an Instagram statement after a lot of speculation surrounding their relationship. "We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together."
The couple has not publicly mentioned any sort of divorce at the moment, but they did ask their fans for their "love and support."
“To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey," the statement concluded. "With love, Dorit and PK."
