PK Kemsley Gives a Major Health Update on His and Dorit's Son, Jagger

Paul “PK” Kemsley is celebrating a “knockout” victory. 

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills dad took to Instagram on Friday (October 18) to share a quick update on his and Dorit Kemsley’s 10-year-old son, Jagger, who was recently hospitalized with an unspecified illness. PK posted a photo of Jagger smiling ear-to-ear outside the hospital, suggesting the boy had been formally discharged.

“Jagger V the Virus ….” PK captioned the post, “and the winner, by clear knock out …. Jagger Kemsley.”

Although Dorit has not publicly addressed Jagger’s health issue, she did take to the comments section to leave a series of heart, prayer hands, and clapping emojis.

PK confirmed Jagger’s hospitalization in an October 15 Instagram post, explaining his boy had “been unwell for the last few weeks.”

“Mommy and Daddy have been with him in the wondeful [Cedars-Sinai Medical Center],” he wrote. “We wanted to publicly thank them and the Drs and Nurses … we are still here but he’s on the mend … he’s our Rocky.”

While he didn’t provide any details on Jagger’s illness, PK made sure to keep his followers updated on his son’s recovery. He returned to Instagram on October 17, saying his boy was pulling through and was expected to go home by the weekend. 

“Spent 24 / 7 with Jagger for the last few days , even though we are in the hospital, it’s such a gift to have the time , to listen to this little fella who honestly is wise beyond his years,” he wrote. “[Dorit] is an unbelievably brilliant mother , and I’m happy to let you all know that Jagger is on the other side of this now and we are taking him home tomorrow."

PK went on to gush over Jagger's character and expressed gratitude for all the support his family has received over the past few days.

“Dorit and myself are so grateful for all the well wishers,” he continued. “I know I’m totally biased but this kid only has kindness and love in his heart .. I don’t think you can teach that … it’s just him.”

Dorit and PK continue to co-parent amid their split 

Dorit and PK — also parents to an 8-year-old daughter, Phoenix — announced their separation in May, roughly nine years after they married. The pair explained they had faced marital struggles over the years and were continuing “to work through them”; however, they felt it was necessary to separate as they figured out their next steps.

“To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children,” they wrote in a since-deleted joint statement. “We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey.”
