Dolores Catania Has a Surprising Update About Her Future with Paulie Connell (EXCLUSIVE)
The RHONJ cast member gets real about if she wants Paul "Paulie" Connell to propose and if an engagement is on the horizon.
If you ask Dolores Catania, she's making it pretty clear that she and Paul "Paulie" Connell have it all. In fact, Dolores is in no rush to get engaged to her longtime boyfriend anytime soon.
When Dolores spoke to The Daily Dish back in November, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member noted that she was not expecting to find an engagement ring under the tree this holiday season and that's just fine by her.
"No, well, I conned him into a dog. There's a dog in the Miami shelter and I said, if he gets me the dog then I don't want anything else for Christmas. So, he said, no. So, I don't know. I don't know," she said with a laugh. (For those wondering, it's unclear if Dolores ended up getting the dog.)

Dolores, however, continued, "Now, any [engagement] rings... I haven't thought about what I want for Christmas. I have pretty much everything I want, to be honest with you, and I'm [one] hundred percent honest. I have peace in my life right now. And, what more could I want? We're happy and that's the goal in my life. I know a lot of people who are engaged and I know a lot of people who are married and that doesn't always make for the best of everything, you know? My goal is to be happy and to be peaceful. My biggest thing is helping. I will still go to the shelter, the women's shelter. I'll still be in with the animals. I don't have the balls to go to animal shelters."
Dolores and Paulie have been dating since 2021. They currently live together in the home Paul bought on his own and "now it's a home. It's not a bachelor pad anymore." (You can take a tour of their house in the video above.)

Whatever the future holds for Dolores and Paulie, he's definitely celebrating the now alongside his partner, which includes her recent birthday. In fact, he made it very clear about how much he loves Dolores in a birthday tribute post to mark her big day in late December.
And, yes, his tribute even included him popping a question in a very public way. Just not the one you might be expecting.
"While every day is a celebration of life, you get to celebrate it more on your birthday. Happiest Birthday my Dolores. In this past year alone from the achievements that you have had, the goals that you've set and completely raised the bar on every level, as you seem to do in your stride without even realizing it. The biggest gift you've given yourself now, is knowing you can do more than you could ever imagine," he wrote. "Proud of you more than you can ever imagine. I love you. I do however have one question for you? 'Are you a traitor or are you a you a faithful?'"

That question is of course a reference to the upcoming Season 3 of The Traitors, which features Dolores on the cast. Well, Dolores had the perfect response to Paulie's query: "Ohh baby the answer to your question is worth the wait !!!!! And for the record all of what I have done has been with [you] by my side the most supportive loving man! Thank [you] for making my birthday and Christmas so special."
As mentioned, Dolores' next big move is almost here! Season 3 of The Traitors is set to premiere on Peacock on January 9. Back in November, Dolores posted a simple tease on Instagram, "Meet me at the roundtable."
