Does Kristen Taekman Get Along With Bethenny?
The 'RHONY' newcomer star dishes on her new co-star.
Is Bethenny Frankel already making waves with her return to The Real Housewives of New York City? According to Kristen Taekman, who celebrated her debut season last year, the return of the original housewife has caused a "huge change in the dynamic" between the women.
Kristen admits to being "ecstatic" when she first found out about Bethenny's return. "I feel like I was really looking forward to getting to know her," she tells the New York Daily News, "and at this point I feel like that hasn't really happened yet in a way that I wanted to."
The fitness guru and model is apparently finding the Skinnygirl mogul more enigmatic than she would like. "I thought that with Bethenny, it’s like you can’t judge a book by its cover. But I think my tune is changing a little bit," she says. "I felt that way a minute ago and now I don’t know. I can’t read the cover of the book anymore. I guess I don’t speak that language."
As for Bethenny herself, she seems to have no complaints. She tweeted back in December that she is "LOVING filming this season. Very fun!!!"
Still, Kristen insists that "it's great that [Bethenny's] back." And with the show still filming, maybe the two women will find an opportunity to bond after all…or not. Either way, it might be time to break out the wine glasses.
