As a Bravolebrity, your fellow Bravo personalities become like family to you — and in some cases, they actually become family. Real Housewives fans who love a crossover may have been delighted to learn that The Real Housewives of New York City alum Carole Radziwill happens to share a dog with model RJ King, the brother of The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King Edmonds. That’s right, RJ is dad to goldendoodle Baby, who has made a few appearances on RHONY. The two, along with their friend Tripp Swanhaus, became parents to Baby in 2015 and Meghan revealed that she’s spent time with the dog as Baby’s aunt. However, it seems like there may have been a recent change in this modern family’s dynamics.
RHOC's Kelly Dodd told The Daily Dish podcast in a recent interview that she happened to run into RJ during her visit to New York City. She shared that Carole joked that RJ is a “deadbeat baby daddy.” “He moved to Brooklyn … He left the family,” Kelly revealed.
Speaking of RJ King, Kelly also shared that she doesn’t keep in touch with his sister Meghan since her exit from RHOC and her subsequent move to live in St. Louis, Missouri full-time.
“I don’t like his sister,” Kelly said bluntly. As a refresher, the two bumped heads on Season 12, when Meghan asked a still-married Kelly if she had a boyfriend and Kelly told Meghan that her husband, Jim Edmonds, was having an affair while Meghan was pregnant with her first child, Aspen King Edmonds.
“Why would I talk to her?" Kelly continued. "She lives in St. Louis. Good luck with that.”
It seems that in the case of (Bravo) family, absence doesn’t always make the heart grow fonder.
