You Won't Recognize Alanna Ubach in Her Epic, Upcoming Movie
The #GG2D star is returning to the big screen in Coco.
As if Coco didn't look enchanting enough, we now have another reason to be excited for the forthcoming film. Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce star Alanna Ubach will be lending her voice to one of the characters in the animated movie.
The entire cast list for the film was released on Tuesday, according to Entertainment Weekly. The announcement revealed that Alanna will be voicing Mamá Imelda, the late great-great-grandmother of 12-year-old Miguel Rivera (Anthony Gonzalez), who she meets when the boy is transported into the Land of the Dead. Alanna will be joined by a star-studded cast in the movie, including Gael García Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Edward James Olmos, and Cheech Marin.
Alanna couldn't contain her excitement about the new gig on Twitter, and she received a huge congrats from her GG2D co-star Lisa Edelstein, too.
