Demetria McKinney and Roger Bobb Are Engaged
The #RHOA singer is one step closer to walking down the aisle with her longtime boyfriend.
Demetria McKinney may have just created some "Unnecessary Trouble" with Kandi Burruss, but there's nothing but love between The Real Housewives of Atlanta singer/actress and her longtime boyfriend, film and TV producer Roger Bobb. The couple got engaged on New Year's Day, Wetpaint reports. “Roger Bobb finally popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Demetria McKinney on New Year’s Day in Detroit where she was opening for R.Kelly on New Year’s Eve,” a rep for Demetria told Wetpaint. “A September wedding is in the works.”
Demetria is already proudly showing off her stunning new rock in an Instagram pic posted Tuesday.
The couple first met about nine years ago when Roger served as the executive vice president of Tyler Perry Studios and Demetria starred in Tyler Perry's House of Payne, according to Wetpaint. Their relationship was also prominently featured last season of RHOA as some of the ladies speculated about Roger's commitment to his girlfriend of several years. But clearly, it looks like Demetria and Roger's relationship is as strong as ever these days.
