Back on Season 6, Episode 5 of Summer House, which aired in February 2022, cast member Danielle Olivera shared that she was readying for a major move in her career. “I decided to quit my job in corporate fintech to start my own fashion app,” she said in a confessional interview. “This app is a make-or-break situation, so I’m scared out of my mind.”

What is Danielle Olivera's app, Donne?
Donne is a mobile app designed to assist you with your day-to-day fashion necessities According to the company’s site, “users can not only manage their digital wardrobes, but also send outfits and lookbooks to friends, get daily styling recommendations and even hire a professional to help with everyday needs.”
While Donne is now available for download on mobile devices, you must sign up on their waitlist to become a user. Per the site's instructions, "you will need a waitlist code to subscribe and access the app. Joining the waitlist lets us know you’re interested in joining the app. When you’re up, we’ll email you a waitlist code to start your Donne journey!"
Danielle co-founded Donne with her business partner, Jim Brocato. She shared insight about her staff during a March 2023 chat with The Daily Dish, just five months before the app's release. “I have an amazing team, but it’s a small team," Danielle noted at the time. "I’m looking to raise some capital so we can expand it and get it done a bit quicker […] we are starting this from scratch. A lot of it has been built, and it’s really exciting."
Flash-forward to April 19, 2024: Danielle accomplished another milestone, revealing that she had partnered with clothing brand Waverles to create exclusive Donne merch.
“DONNE X WAVERLES MERCH IS OFFICIALLY LIVE,” Danielle’s company wrote on the Instagram post. The stylish products include a chocolate brown sweatshirt with a “Donne” embossed print on the front and matching sweatpants with the company’s logo on the left leg.
When did the Donne app officially launch?
Danielle originally made her fashion app live to the public on August 24, 2023. The brunette beauty celebrated the occasion with an epic launch party. Of course, Danielle’s monumental moment was documented by her friends on social, where fans got a glimpse of the fun event.
“Congrats Dani girl on a successful launch night!” Lindsay Hubbard wrote. She also showed off a colorful sign that was surrounded by flowers.
Samantha Feher also posted a photo of Danielle and her business partner, as the pair spoke about the app. “[S]o proud of you my girl,” Samantha wrote. “[Donne] is ready for the world… but the world ain’t ready for Donne.”
To mark the special evening, Danielle donned a multicolor beaded crop top with matching cropped pants. Other attendees for the party included Carl Radke, Ciara Miller, Paige DeSorbo and her boyfriend, Craig Conover.
Danielle Olivera reveals why she started her company
During a March 2023 Instagram “Ask Me Anything” session, Danielle opened up about her fashion app’s primary goals. “Knowing what’s in your closet, knowing how to style what’s in your closet, connecting you with style experts, help shopping, [and] help getting rid of what you don’t need,” she explained at the time.
Moreover, when speaking to The Daily Dish, the app developer noted that her project was a “labor of love.”
She also added: “I want [the app] to be for the everyday female [who] is going to work, she’s a professional, she makes her money, she can spend money but sometimes she doesn’t have the time to.” Danielle continued, “She doesn’t really know what’s in her closet sometimes, and she’s texting her friends because they’re going out in an hour like, ‘What are you wearing?’”
