Cynthia Bailey's Sister Malorie Opens Up About Her Struggles and Hopes to Help Others "Start Living Your Best Life"
The RHOA sibling got real about her romantic ups and downs — and about having a model as her big sister.
Cynthia Bailey has been living her life for all the world to see since she first put herself in front of The Real Housewives of Atlanta cameras. And we've seen her ups and downs over the years, with small hints as to what her family is like. Now we've learned a little more about the former model's family when they appeared on Iyanla: Fix My Life. During the intense and emotional appearance, Cynthia, her sister, Malorie Bailey, and her mom, Barbara Bailey, took a closer look at the romantic decisions Malorie has made over the years (clips below), including marrying a man she only knew for a couple months and how that has affected her life. (As fans may recall, Cynthia's mom also very intensely discussed her life and experiences during an appearance on RHOA last season, which you can check out in the clip above.)
The experience was definitely eye-opening for Cynthia, who learned a lot about her sibling from the sit-down. "So proud of my beautiful sister [Malorie] for opening up about her life [and] personal struggles. She is a very private person, and even as her sister, I am still learning more about her journey everyday. Life is not easy for any of us, and we are all searching for love, happiness [and] purpose," Cynthia reflected about the experience with her little sister. "I pray that you continue to strive daily to make good, positive & healthy choices for yourself [and] the people around you. You only get one life, and you deserve to live every second of it to the fullest. One of the most important lessons that I have learned in my life and from being on television is that when you live in your truth, you have to take the good and the bad. You learn [and] grow from your mistakes. Let your wins and your failures serve as inspiration [and] motivation to inspire others who feel alone. Thank you [Iyanla] for your time [and] your counsel. As a family, we still have a long way to go [and] I believe this is just the beginning of our healing process. I am excited about all the amazing possibilities. I love you and God bless you Mal. This too shall pass."
Later Malorie also reflected on sharing her experience with the world on Instagram. Read her full statement, below:
