Cynthia Bailey Receives Atlanta Icon Award
The RHOA star was honored last week in her hometown.
A big Mazel goes out to Cynthia Bailey!
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has just added a new honor to her resume. She was just named one of the 25 Most Influential Women in Atlanta.
She received the Shero Icon Award at the 9th Annual Top 25 Women of Atlanta Awards, which took place at The Ballroom at Twelve Hotel - Atlantic Station last Thursday. "It's great to applaud and celebrate black women who are doing great things in the city," she said at the event, which was also attended by her husband Peter Thomas.
"The women being honored tonight have made a difference in the community from the legendary Trumpet Awards Foundation's founder Xernona Clayton to corporate executive to real estate developers and reality star Cynthia Bailey," Munson Steed, publisher and CEO of Steed Media Group, said at the event about the honorees. "The have each broken barriers in the industry and have laid a blueprint for us to follow."
At the bash, Cynthia also had some one-on-one time with the city's mayor, Kasim Reed. She wrote, "Big hug from the Mayor last night #rollingout #9thannualtop25womenofatlantadinner."
