Spend your Halloween as The Millionaire Matchmaker.
We know you loved last week's Andy Cohen costume idea, but maybe you want to go for something a little more feminine? If you're feeling fab enough, you could spend the night as the Million Matchmaker herself, Patti Stanger!
Patti is fun, vivacious, and absolutely shameless, so make sure you're up for a high energy night. She has no problem diving into the touchiest subjects in front of a national audience, and never censors herself to her clients. A third generation matchmaker with an extremely high success rate, Patti has no reason to tone herself down — clearly, the woman knows what she's doing.
In order to get the Patti look down, you'll need a few basic pieces and a couple of fun accessories:
- Form-fitting Dress: Patti is always rocking a tight dress that accentuates her curves. A black, blue, or purple dress will do in a pinch, but a perfect Patti costume has got to be bright pink. And work it!
- Black Wig: You'll need an ultra-straight 'do. If you aren't blessed with Patti's silky straight look, a long black wig is your best bet. And ditch the bangs (they're so last season).
- Heels: While the Millionaire Matchmaker is average height (about 5'8), her collection of heels makes her look statuesque. For your costume, the more dramatic, the better: We're thinking black thigh-high boots (but when aren't we?).
- Hearts: Jewelry, stickers, temporary tattoos — anything you can think of that screams "Love!" Patti is all about reading auras and spreading the message of togetherness. It's all about positive energy! If you want to take it the extra mile, you can even add cupid wings and a bow and arrow.
-Lingo: Patti's lingo is... well... bold. Study up on your Patti-isms, and be sure to tell people, "No here, no here, and no here!" We'll let you decide where to point.
Also, try to play matchmaker during the night! Set people up with strangers, or even yourself (Patti is back on the market, after all).
