Carole Radziwill Breaks Down Her "Love Affair" with Bethenny Frankel

It wasn't friends at first sight for Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel. In fact, it took a while for the Real Housewives of New York stars to warm up to each other.

"Our little love affair was slow and steady," Carole tells E! News about their evolving chemistry.

It turns out that when Carole initially met Bethenny, she had a preconceived idea of what she'd be like IRL. As is sometimes the case, that wasn't necessarily how it all went down.

"I had this idea that she was— when I first met her— that she was going to be super funny," Carole shares. "I didn't really know that much about her, honestly, other than that she had created Skinnygirl and it was amazing and she really, far as business, she was killing it. That was very impressive. I thought she would be really impressive, which she was, and I had this feeling that she'd be really super funny and chill. When we met, she wasn't that in the beginning to me, she was very intense. She's a very intense girl and she's going through a lot of stuff."

So what was the moment that changed their dynamic? When Carole shared that she had a sex dream about her, natch. (Check out that moment below!)

"See, I had a dream where I was pleasuring her to get her to relax. Right? I felt like she needed to relax, she needed to chill and be calm, I think that's where the sex part came in. But she was very relaxed in the dream," she jokes. "It was one of those dreams where you wake up and—no joke, it was Bethenny. You know when you have dreams and sometimes it's the image of or the feeling of a person? But it was her. I wasn't going to tell her because I didn't know her that well and then I thought, ‘What the hell?' That sort of broke the ice between us… She's so cute. Later on we're on the trip and stuff and she was much more relaxed."
