Carl Radke’s Ex Mackenzie Dipman Is Working at Something About Her Sandwich Shop (PICS)
The Love Island USA alum, who briefly dated the Summer House entrepreneur, has joined the team at Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney's sandwich shop.
As Summer House fans may recall, during Season 6 of the show, Carl Radke started dating Mackenzie Dipman. Though the pair's relationship didn't last long, Mackenzie later continued her quest for love as a bombshell on Love Island USA Season 4.
Now, Mackenzie has reappeared in the Bravoverse. Over the last few months, she has been working at Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix's sandwich shop, Something About Her.
"Christmas really did come early!" the Something About Her Instagram account posted via a recent Story, celebrating the shop's epic July holiday décor. In the photo we saw Ann Maddox, aka Tom Sandoval's former assistant who now works at Something About Her, and Mackenzie, who is also employed by the establishment.
Moreover, in July, Mackenzie took to her Instagram Stories to share a peek at her work day behind-the-scenes, taking a mirror selfie amidst Something About Her's charging, "rom-com"-esque décor (revisit a tour of the incredibly-designed spot in the video above).
Katie Maloney Reveals Mackenzie Dipman is the Manager of Something About Her
In the May 22 episode of Katie and Vanderpump Rules alum Dayna Kathan's podcast, Disrespectfully, Katie talked about Something About Her, which, at the time, was in the process of opening.
After gushing about her "amazing team," she specifically shouted out Mackenzie for being a "rock star manager for everything," further cementing the Out of His League clothing founder's position at the sandwich spot.
Details on Carl Radke's Relationship With Mackenzie Dipman
Back in Season 6 of Summer House, which was filmed in 2021, Carl introduced viewers to Mackenzie and spoke about their relationship on the show.
“I met Mackenzie two years ago, and we reconnected,” explained Carl, who was newly sober at the time. “I’ve never really dated sober before, so I’m scared a little bit.”
Summer House fans saw Carl and Mackenzie go on a date in New York City on Episode 6, and she also visited the crew's Hamptons house on Episode 7.
By Episode 11, however, Carl revealed to Kyle Cooke he wanted to cut things off with Mackenzie since he wasn't ready to date seriously before hitting his one-year mark of sobriety.
“I just needed a break,” he shared, noting that “sobriety is number one.”
Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix's Something About Her Chef, Jamie Persky
Though Carl and Mackenzie didn't work out as a couple, Mackenzie seems to be working well with Katie and Ariana.
At the soft opening of Something About Her in May, the ladies gushed about their "awesome team and staff" and also pointed out another asset to their Something About Her squad: their chef, Jamie Persky (Katie confirmed in April that she and Ariana had parted ways with chef Penny Davidi).
"Jamie took [the menu] to a whole new level, honestly," Katie said. "She did an onion balsamic marmalade that is amazing. I was like, 'I never would have thought of that. That’s amazing.'”
