Carl Radke Needed a "Little Change” — So Here's What He Did
The Summer House cast member headed to the Caribbean for an "amazing celebration."
Carl Radke said “goodbye” to the North East cold and “hello” to the Caribbean sun.
With only a few weeks left in 2024, the Summer House cast member took a break from his busy work schedule and headed to Anguilla for a celebratory trip. Carl documented the getaway in a series of Instagram photos taken at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences.

“A little change of seanery,” he captioned a December 8 post. The snap showed Carl posing against an ocean backdrop while rocking a beige double-breasted sports coat and matching undershirt, as well as light tan trousers, brown boat shows, a white pocket square, and a pair of shades.
Carl later revealed he had gone to the island for his good friends’ wedding.
“Amazing celebration with two incredible people,” he captioned a photo of him with the happy couple. “Congratulations Michelle and Jamal!!!!”
The following snaps captured Carl hanging out with other guests, including one of his pals who donned a similar suit.
“We look like two detectives from Miami here to solve the $110 break buffet cold case,” Carl wrote in the Story.
Carl Radke is opening a non-alcoholic bar/cafe
The island getaway went down as Carl prepares to launch Soft Bar + Café — a non-alcoholic business that's expected to open in early 2025. The Hamptons housemate spoke about the business in a July interview with Page Six, explaining how he and his partners came up with the name.
“While ‘Soft drinks’ is a term used in the US, it has a different connotation, typically representing soda,” he said. “I wanted to define a new — and much needed — category and space, having ‘soft drinks’ or ‘softs’ be seen as functional and high quality non [alcoholic] beverages for adults. I was sharing this thought during a conversation with my co-founder as we discussed raising the bar in the non-[alcoholic] space, ultimately leading us to the name ‘Soft Bar.’”
The bar/cafe concept will be located in Brooklyn; however, Carl has yet to announce the exact location of the brick-and-mortar.
Carl Radke hopes his new business will "help other people"
Carl expressed interest in opening a non-alcoholic bar during Summer House Season 8, years after he began his sobriety journey.
“I’m proud to be a voice for things that I’ve been through and hopefully help other people,” he told his then-fiancé, Lindsay Hubbard. “So I’ve been thinking about a sports bar, non-alcoholic. A sober sports bar.”
Fast-forward to the Season 8 reunion, when Carl announced the business was officially underway.
“I want to lean into non-alcoholic stuff, whether it’s opening a cafe or sports bar, which, by the way, I’m about to,” he said. “I’ve got a team together, we’ve raised some money, and we’re actually going to open something here in New York.”
