What Do Captain Lee Rosbach's 5 Kids Think of Below Deck?
Here's why one of his sons won't even watch the show.
Captain Lee Rosbach may be the patriarch of Below Deck, but the Stud of the Sea has his own family of six: his wife, Mary Anne, whom we finally got to officially meet in Season 5 of Below Deck, and five children.
So what's it like for Captain Lee's kids to watch their pop not only discipline the fully grown adults of his crew but also the charter guests? Well, he actually doesn't know. "It's kind of a unique situation," Captain Lee shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Tuesday night (clip above). "Two of my sons have been involved in yachting. And Mary Anne, my wife, actually asked one of them, she said, 'Did you watch Dad's show tonight on TV?' And he went, 'No.' And she goes, 'Why not?' He says, 'Mom, we all worked for Dad, we know who he is, and it's like watching home movies, and we're not in them.'"
Andy Cohen can relate. "My parents went to a movie on New Year's Eve when I was hosting with Anderson Cooper," he said on WWHL.
Maybe Captain Lee can take some solace in knowing that he may have even inspired his children to pursue a life on the high seas. "Yeah, probably to a degree, I may have inspired him to get into the yachting industry," Captain Lee told The Daily Dish in 2016 about his son, Sean, who was working as a chef on a superyacht at the time. "But then there's also the seductive nature of the business that we're in: exotic locations, lots of money, and you get to rub shoulders with some of the brightest and best people in the world."
