Candice Bergen Offered Up Her Theory on Why Melania Trump Won't Hold Donald Trump's Hand
The Emmy-winning actress did once date the President, so maybe she knows what she's talking about.
Spanking, shenanigans, tea spilling and trivia aside, when Candice Bergen appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday, the Hollywood legend was reminded of a fun little tidbit about her past: that, yes, she went on a date with Donald Trump back in her college days at the University of Pennsylvania.
Considering she's been out and about with Trump in the past, a WWHL caller wanted to know if she might have some insight into why Melania Trump isn't too keen to hold Donald's hand. "I've wondered the same thing," she said, before sharing a bit of her theory on why she believes the FLOTUS won't hold POTUS' hand, in the video above.
That being said, the whole hand-holding situation has become a bit of a hot topic as of late in the Clubhouse.
