Did Andy Cohen Play Matchmaker for Brynn Whitfield and Shep Rose?
There's been a new development in the potential romance between the RHONY and Southern Charm cast members at BravoCon 2023.
Put a group of fabulous Bravolebs on a panel called “It’s Ladies Night” and you can bet the conversation will turn to hookups once or twice — or more. That’s exactly what happened on Day 2 of BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas when five Bravolebrities gathered on the Bravoverse Live Stage for a chat moderated by Andy Cohen’s assistant, Daryn Carp.
Gathered together on stage were The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Erika Jayne, Summer House’s Gabby Prescod, Winter House’s Jordan Emanuel, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles’ Tracy Tutor, and The Real Housewives of New York City’s Brynn Whitfield. In a great twist, Andy dropped in to hear what the ladies were saying. (And they had a lot to say.)
Daryn pointed out that Andy is an ace matchmaker. “You kind of are known to put interesting people together spark romances," she said.
Andy mentioned that he brought up Brynn’s name the night before to Southern Charm’s Shep Rose because she’d brought up Shep’s name when she was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier this year.
“He came over to me before The Bravos,” Andy said. “He was, like, ‘I am stunned by Brynn. She’s so beautiful. She's so tall.' He goes, ‘She's really smart … she’s a star.’”
Andy shared that both love books, offering that as a connection point. Brynn then came back with a surprising note about Shep.

“Okay so update," Brynn said. "We're actually having a drink before I go to Watch What Happens Live tonight.”
She explained how it came to be: “He asked me to coffee this morning, but I was getting ready. And so I was like, ‘let's have a drink.’ But I was like, 'We might have to have a drink in my room'" to avoid sparking rumors that they're dating.
“I'm gonna be getting ready doing makeup and we're having a drink in my room,” Brynn said. “It’s just a drink.”
Turns out that Brynn and Shep will be joined by fellow Southern Charm cast member Austen Kroll. “On the way here I invited Austen to the drinks with Shep,” Brynn added.
Meanwhile on Day 1 of BravoCon 2023, Shep revealed he and Shahs of Sunset's GG are "flirtatious," with GG adding that Shep recently sent her a "very telling text."
