Bryan Voltaggio Gives the Scoop on New Cookbook
All the details on his collection of sophisticated comfort food recipes.
Bryan Voltaggio is ready to take you home—with a new cookbook!
The former Cheftestant is readying the release of his new cookbook this spring and he's teasing fans with the cover for his latest tome, Home. He shared the jacket on Twitter.
Home, which hits shelves on April 7, will focus on Bryan's love of sophisticated comfort food. Crab Waffle Benedict, Chicken Pot Pie Fritters as well as Sweet Potato and Chickpea Fries are among the recipes that made the cut.
"It'll be what I cook at home and also some adaptations of dishes at Family Meal, which is a restaurant about families getting together and sharing food," he told the Washington Post last year. "It's kind of a window into what I like to cook when I might be off, which is very rare. These are rare recipes, sir!"
The book is his follow-up to 2011's Volt Ink, which he released alongside his brother, Michael.
"It'll be a fun book. It'll be very approachable," he said. "Volt Ink, I think, was a great window into the time and place where Michael and I were in our careers at the time we wrote the book. This is a different take. It's a book about food that I'm excited about, that everybody can try."
