Why Bronwyn Newport's Husband Todd Bradley Left Her in Tears
Bronwyn Newport realizes just how much she values her husband's approval in a new preview for RHOSLC.
In the above preview for Season 5, Episode 10 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City — set to air Nov. 20 — Bronwyn Newport and her husband, Todd Bradley, unpack their drama-filled anniversary trip to Palm Springs, a conversation that ultimately ends with Bronwyn in tears.
The crux of her emotions? Todd tells her he doesn't approve of how she acted during the vacation.
"The ten years we've been together, I've never seen you act the way you acted this weekend. You know?" Todd begins. "I know we've known Lisa [Barlow] and John [Barlow] a long time, but for you to sit in the hot tub and scream back and forth with her is ridiculous."
"I was there. I was in the pool, remember? What did you accomplish? Nothing," Todd adds. "You ruined a perfectly nice afternoon."
A question from Bronwyn — "I ruined it?" — is then met with a shrug from Todd.
"That's what I think," he says, prompting his wife's eyes to well up. "I guess you did what you thought was right, I've just never seen you act that way. And frankly it's not very becoming for you."
After taking Todd's words in, Bronwyn asks him if he can possibly see why things might've turned out that way. "They all yell. They all call each other 'dumb bitches.' They all scream and yell," she says. "And I don't. know how to interact in that scenario."
Todd's advice: "Leave with your dignity."

In an emotional confessional, Bronwyn shares how much her husband's approval means to her.
"Todd's approval might mean everything to me," she says with a defeated shrug. "Umm, so to not only be missing the mark, but [to] be, like, on a totally different page from the mark? This is incredibly hard for me to hear."
