The news comes six months after The Valley's Brittany Cartwright confirmed her separation Jax Taylor.
Brittany Cartwright has reportedly filed for divorce from Jax Taylor.
TMZ obtained court documents that were filed in Los Angeles on August 26 showing that Brittany had filed to formally dissolve her and Jax's union. Per the documents, Brittany listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, and she listed January 25, 2024 as the date of their separation.

Brittany and Jax tied the knot in front of Vanderpump Rules cameras on June 29, 2019 after about four years of dating. The pair welcomed their first and only child, son Cruz Michael Cauchi, in 2019. Their marital issues were a major talking point on Season 1 of The Valley, and they separated about four months after filming wrapped.
When did Jax and Brittany separate?
On the February 29 episode When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany, Brittany announced her separation from the former SUR bartender.
"Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health," Brittany explained on a solo episode of the podcast. "I won’t get into too many details right now because this is still very hard to talk about and I’m taking things one day at a time."
"I don’t know what the future holds, but right now, my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz," she continued. "I love you guys. Pray for us. And everything will be just fine."

Why did Jax and Brittany break up?
"We just had our issues with fighting with each other,” Brittany said during an exclusive chat with The Daily Dish in March 2024. “There wasn’t any infidelity. I know that’s been a rumor going around. It wasn’t anything like that.”
“It was just not a happy feeling, and I was like, losing my sparkle a little bit,” Brittany added to The Daily Dish. “I started to notice that, and I think after I had my son, I woke up a little bit and it made me realize like he can’t grow up in this environment.”
For his part, Jax acknowledged that he was "a work in progress," and he was "doing everything [he could] to better [himself]."
Working on himself included checking into an in-patient treatment facility for mental health in July.
"Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be heading back home later this week,” his rep shared in a statement to PEOPLE on August 19. "It’s been an emotional month for him and he’s most looking forward to spending time with his son [Cruz Michael Cauchi]."
