Britani Bateman Teases a Major Career Move Is "Coming Soon!"
RHOSLC friend Britani Bateman's new venture may involve a collaboration with Lisa Barlow.
Britani Bateman may be getting viewers talking when it comes to her relationship with Jared Osmond on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, but she's ready to get them chatting about something else with an upcoming Christmas song.
The Season 5 friend took to her Instagram feed on December 2 to reveal that she will be releasing an EP (extended play) in time for Christmas. "It's officially Christmas month! And what better way to celebrate than with an EP!" she wrote in the caption of her post, which was a video of her posing with Christmas lights while wearing a red dress. "Coming soon!"
A few months before making her announcement, Britani posted a video from a recording studio session in September. She collaborated with David Osmond (who happens to be related to both Jared Osmond and Donny Osmond) for part of the EP.
Britani didn't share any other details about her forthcoming EP, like whether her songs are original tunes, or if they are covers of Christmas classics. She did, however, tease that she wants to work with a snowflake holder in the future.
In the comments section of Britani's EP announcement post, a fan wondered if Lisa Barlow, who went viral for her performance of "Away in a Manger" would be jealous of her music news.
"Ha ha no way," Britani replied. "She's got a great voice. We're going to do a duet."
