Carl Radke Announced He's Going Back to Loverboy at BravoCon 2023
The Summer House cast member made a big announcement about his next career move at BravoCon 2023.
Carl Radke dropped some major career news at BravoCon 2023. While sharing updates during a panel discussion on day one of the megawatt Bravo event, which kicked off today, November 3, the Summer House cast member revealed that he will be rejoining Loveryboy on a part-time basis.
Carl had previously worked for the alcoholic beverage company founded by his friend and fellow Summer House cast member, Kyle Cooke. However, Carl announced last February that he was resigning from his position as VP of sales.
“I’m beyond proud of what I’ve done for that company, but for me day to day — I’m doing other things now, which is great,” he said at the time. “I’m fully supportive of the company, I still get texts and emails about Loverboy, I pass them to the right person, but I think it was best I moved on.”
However, much has changed for Carl in the past eight months, and it looks like he's ready to return to the Loverboy universe.
Carl Radke Shares an Update on His Career at BravoCon 2023
On Friday's BravoCon discussion, Carl shared the following update: "Well, I'm actually proud to announce I'm going to be joining the Loverboy team on a part-time basis to help with the non-alcoholic product," he shared, citing a revelation earlier in the panel that the company is looking to add a mocktail to its roster.
Carl continued: "I'm excited about that. I also am producing a movie that's actually filming currently. So, I'm going to be going to Malibu after this, BravoCon, to finish the movie. And then I've got some other things in the works, which you guys will learn about.... But, yeah, I'm just trying to take care of myself, but focusing on my career is definitely going to be a good way to heal and move forward."
More than a month later, Carl opened up to PEOPLE about returning to Loverboy to launch the first two non-alcoholic flavors, white tea peach and lemon iced tea. In the interview published on December 19, Carl shared he is "beyond proud" to stand behind the new products.
“People always ask me, ‘How are you still having fun but not drinking?’” he said. “I've gotten more comfortable over time just being in social environments, but the key for me is having something in my hand, something that helps you feel like you're a part of it.”
As for starting a new chapter in his career following his split from Lindsay Hubbard, Carl explained that he's feeling "good" about the future. "I feel like I've got a lot of exciting things, career-wise,” he said. “I'm just really focusing on taking care of myself, working on Loverboy. It's not lost on me, there was a lot going on, but the way I get through a lot of difficult things in my past has been to focus on my career, focus on my friendships and my family.”
Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard Share a Relationship Update at BravoCon 2023
The BravoCon 2023 panel marked one of the first times that Carl had seen his former fiancée, Lindsay Hubbard, after the pair split in September.
“This is the first time I’m seeing Carl,” Lindsay said on the panel. “And, yeah, we don’t really speak unless he has to get into the apartment to get some stuff. That’s really it.” When asked about sharing the stage with her ex, Lindsay said she was “really nervous” and “shaking” in her seat.
Carl admitted that he was “nervous as well” but “grateful” to be at BravoCon 2023 — available to watch on Peacock and Bravo.com. He added the event was also “emotional.”
