Bravo Is Bringing You Its Boldest Social Experiment Yet From Executive Producer Viola Davis
The network's new series, In a Man's World, features women temporarily transforming into men.
Bravo is about to be a major part of the cultural conversation with its new series In a Man's World, the network announced on Thursday, May 30.
Bravo's boldest social experiment yet will document the journeys of four women (from a professional pool player to a pastor) who morph into men with the help of Academy Award-winning makeup artists and skilled voice and movement coaches. Each episode of In a Man's World, which is produced for Bravo by Lucky 8 and JuVee Productions, will follow a different woman as she goes about her daily life at work, home, and hanging out with loved ones, all while in her new disguise.
Along the way, the participants will not only learn a lot more about the world around them, but also about themselves.
"We at JuVee continue our commitment to illuminate the challenges and obstacles of the voiceless. Our goal is to be disrupters," In a Man's World executive producer Viola Davis said in a statement. "We are so proud of the originality and boldness of ‘In A Man's World’ and it is our hope that it shifts you a little."
Bravo previously announced two other new series earlier this month: the espionage competition series Spy Games and the family docuseries Indian-ish.
