Brandi Redmond Confirms Her Pregnancy in an Emotional Instagram Post

After announcing in October that she was expecting her fourth child, Brandi Redmond confirmed her pregnancy in a touching post on Instagram on January 5.

The Real Housewives of Dallas cast member shared a selfie of her baby bump in the post and opened up about the challenges of the past as she looks forward to what the New Year will bring.

"First I want to say Welcome to 2021 and I pray it’s filled with love, laughter and blessings for all. I have so much gratitude for each and [every one] of you. If [you're] reading this thank you for taking the time. I may seem as if I’m hiding but really this is just me," Brandi wrote. "If you know me, I live in the moment more than most and I have this feeling that when I get to heaven I’ll get to see a beautiful book of my life but in that book I’ll also see my mistakes, flaws, ups and downs. It’ll be how I handled this journey, what I’ve learned, how I grew and what type of difference I made. So as I’ve shared my life with you these past five years, I can’t wait to share my growing baby bump with you and the season premiere of #rhod."

Brandi went on to thank those who have shown her support, including her loved ones, everyone involved in RHOD, and fans.

"From the bottom of my heart and soul thank you all. As you’ll see I do read, listen and take to heart each and [every] one of your comments, thoughts, feelings and emotions. I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t and with that thank you. I love you and will continue this journey called life and sharing life with you," she continued. "Let’s do this 2021. We are all in this together and with each other this world can and will be a better place. A special thank you to my family, my cast, crew and production who knew I wanted to be open, honest and not run. I love you all and couldn’t have done it without you. #RHOD."

Brandi's fellow Dallas Housewives sent their love to their friend in the comments section of her post, including Stephanie Hollman, D'Andra Simmons, Kary Brittingham, and Kameron Westcott.

Brandi first shared the happy news that she and husband Bryan Redmond were expecting their fourth child in a post on Instagram in October, which featured a photo of three pumpkins decorated with the birth years of their three children, plus one more with 2021 written on it, noting the future arrival of the newest addition to the family. 

"We decorated pumpkins for our little pumpkin patch this afternoon. God works in mysterious ways and we are so thankful for his grace and glory. You never know what his plan is but we know he’s got us in the palm of his hand," Brandi wrote in the Instagram post. "We have much to be thankful for this holiday season and want to thank all of you for your prayers, love and out pouring support."

Brandi and Bryan are already parents to daughters Brooklyn, 12, and Brinkley, 9, as well as son Bruin, 3, who they adopted in 2018.

Brandi couldn't help but share some adorable photos of her three kids throughout the holiday season. "Counting my blessings this Thanksgiving. Like so many, this year has been the hardest year of my life and I’m so thankful I get to hold on a little tighter to my babies," she shared in a post on Thanksgiving before captioning a Christmas photo of her children with Santa and Mrs. Claus, "As good as it gets and so thankful to be exiting 2020 soon."
