Bethenny Frankel’s Painful Loss
The BEA star opens up about her recent miscarriage.
Sad news from Bethenny Frankel this week. On the Today Show, Bethenny revealed that she was recently pregnant for eight weeks but suffered a miscarriage. "That was a very emotional experience," explains the Bethenny Ever After star. "Until you become a woman, you don't know the things that come with it. The window is closing, and it's something I'm dealing with."
Adding to the turmoil, Bethenny was prescribed an antibiotic after her miscarriage but took the pill before bed without any water. "It burned a whole in my esophagus. So I have a whole in my heart and in my esophagus," she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens: Live last night. Ever the survivor (and savvy businesswoman), Mrs. Hoppy added, "But it's OK, I'm good. I wouldn't be drinking Skinnygirl margarita if I weren't feeling good."
And if there's a silver lining to come out of Bethenny and Jason's loss, it's that other women can relate to the couple's struggle to conceive their second child. "I saw ur comments about ur miscarriage & infertility & appreciate ur sympathy 4 us who struggled 2 get preg my 1st due in April!" one fan tweeted to Bethenny. "I appreciate your struggle," she replied.
