This Is Why Bethenny Frankel Is BFFs with Eric Stonestreet
Well, the #RHONY mom and the Modern Family star have more in common than you might think.
It's been nearly two years since rumors bubbled to the surface that Bethenny Frankel and Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet were dating. The twosome have since debunked that bit of gossip. And to this day, they remain as tight as ever.
"Are people really fascinated by myself and Eric? We, honestly, are very close. [I] couldn't like him more, [I] went to visit him on the Modern Family set. He's the most fascinating person I've met in a really long time," The Real Housewives of New York City mogul explained to The Daily Dish before regaling us with the tale of their first meeting.
"I met him at a party, and I thought he was gay, and he commented on my skirt. And I think he thought it was a sexy skirt, but I thought he was gonna be my gay best friend and that we were gonna go clothes shopping because I thought he was his character 'cause I think the people in McDonald's commercials are actually in real life gonna be there when I go," she said. "So I didn't realize he's from Kansas and a real sports fan and a real meat eater and a real Kansas City man."
So, what bonds the Big City businesswoman and the sitcom star? "So we both have a very irreverent sense of humor," she said. "I get to share mine on my show. He has an amazing character on his show. He's an amazing actor and we get along great. But if people are fascinated by it, great. I mean, he's amazing."
