Bethenny Frankel Documents Her Skin Cancer Removal Surgery
The #RHONY mom opened up about the procedure.
Bethenny Frankel has undergone skin cancer removal surgery on her face. The Real Housewives of New York City mogul documented the surgery on social media, letting her fans in on the experience. The Skinnygirl founder headed to Snapchat to take fans inside her Mohs micrographic surgery and also the plastic surgery she had to remove the scarring.
In videos posted by the Big Apple mom, she flaunted her signature sense of humor about the experience. “Living the glamorous life,” she joked, via PEOPLE. “Everybody in the press will be right — I am getting plastic surgery right now. See? I’m at the plastic surgeon. I’m going to get a t–job at the same time.”
She also shared her back and forth with her doctor. “I’ll be back like new in a little bit. I’m gonna live?” she asked, to which the doctor responded: “I think you’re going to live, I know you’re going to live. You’re going to be better than ever. It’s going to give you a little street cred right now.”
Bethenny first revealed she was being tested for skin cancer earlier this month. She shared details about the surgery on Twitter.
"Mohs Surgery:check. 12 stitches:check. Should I tell the md to throw in some triple Ds while I'm at it?" she wrote on Twitter, also sharing with a fan, "All good. I have a bandage & am gonna milk this thing & take a staycay. Thanks for asking."
Bethenny also shared a photo from the surgery on her Instagram.
