Captain Sandy Yawn and Malia White Reunite for the Most Yachtie Reason
Malia White was also recently spotted with another familiar face to Below Deck Med fans.
No matter how much experience you have in something, you never stop learning. Captain Sandy Yawn and Malia White proved just that during their reunion earlier this week.
Captain Sandy and Malia recently ran into each other while "keeping up our certifications and advancing our maritime careers" at Maritime Professional Training in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, according to a tweet from the Below Deck Mediterranean boss on April 6.
Those working in the yachting industry must frequently take courses to keep their required certifications up to date, as well as earn credentials to be able to take on more advanced duties and climb up the ranks.
Malia first captured this catch-up session in a video in her Instagram Stories, where it was revealed that she was working on becoming a chief mate, while Captain Sandy was getting her firefighting revalidation.
Prior to hitting the books, Malia gave fans a glimpse of her latest yachting job as she was "Back on that Bosun S--t" in Fort Lauderdale, according to an Instagram post on March 30.
Captain Sandy isn't the only familiar face that Malia has been spotted with these days. She was also seen hanging out with Katie Flood as the two got their hair done this week. "How's that blue steel," Katie, who was a guest on the April 5 episode of Malia's new podcast, Total Ship Show, captioned a video of the pair looking like models in her Instagram Stories.
When Malia and Katie get all glammed up, they certainly know how to serve up some lewks on their days off.
