Is Austen Kroll Ready to Get Engaged to Girlfriend Audrey Pratt? "In My Opinion..."
Southern Charm's Austen Kroll revealed whether he's ready to take the next step with his long-distance girlfriend.
Austen Kroll has turned over a new leaf on Southern Charm Season 10: He's in a committed relationship with girlfriend Audrey Pratt.
The Trop Hop founder began dating Audrey — a Charlotte-based IT recruiter — in 2023, but is he ready to take things to the next level and get engaged?
"We're not putting pressure on something like that so soon," Austen explained to E! News in a recent interview. "In my opinion, far too early. But we're just having fun and enjoying each other as much as possible."
Are Austen Kroll and Audrey Pratt moving in together?
Austen reiterated that he's not ready for an engagement (or to even move in with Audrey) when he chatted with The Daily Dish on December 5.
"Where do I see it going? I mean, look — there is no pressure whatsoever, and I'm not putting pressure on this of, like, when are you gonna move here or what are we gonna do? At the moment, it is just working the way that it should work," he said. "It's a three-hour drive, and we typically don't wait too long to see each other, right? Unless it's like, completely out of our control, but we typically see each other every week."
The Pillows and Beer podcast co-host admitted that the two haven't really talked about the prospect of moving in together.
"We haven't really even breached that subject. She's gonna live in Charlotte for another year. And that's completely fine because there's no rush to me. I am certainly one of those people [who] would take, like, three years before I even began to think about popping a question or, you know, something like that," Austen continued, before adding that after Audrey's next lease is up, it would be about two years into their relationship.
"[At] the moment, we're just reaching a year and we are just focusing on enjoying each other," he concluded.
How did Austen Kroll and Audrey Pratt meet?
Austen met his now-girlfriend when he was visiting Charlotte, North Carolina (which is also where he's from).
"I met her [when] I was out in Charlotte with a husband [and] wife, and we were getting dinner, but we were getting drinks before dinner," he told The Daily Dish. "We're sitting at a table. Audrey walks in with, like, a group of girls... and they sit at a table kind of adjacent to us."
Austen was reluctant to approach Audrey, because she was with her friends, but fate intervened when he ran into one of her friends by the bathroom.
"She was like, 'You should reach out to Audrey,' and I was like, 'Oh, that's her name.' And then I was like, 'No, it's awkward now because you're telling me to.' Anyways, long story short, I took her to a baseball game in Charlotte and that is how we met."

Austen's new love popped up on the Southern Charm Season 10 premiere, which aired on December 5.
He gushed about their relationship on the episode, including his pet names for her.
"There's pooks, there's pookie monster, there's pookapotamous," he said in an interview on the episode. "It's still weird to tell people, like, 'Hey, this is my girlfriend. This is my girlfriend, Audrey.' You know, for me definitely it is a big step."
