Austen Kroll Reveals His Major Home Renovation Plan: "My Next Project Will Be..." (EXCLUSIVE)
Southern Charm's Austen Kroll is ready to transform an important room in his Charleston home.
Since moving into his Charleston house three years ago, Austen Kroll has been slowly transforming the abode with a bit of help from interior designer and fellow Southern Charm cast member Rodrigo Reyes. After taking a few years to make changes to his bedrooms, kitchen, and living room, Austen is now thinking about his next big renovation project.
While giving BravoTV.com a tour of his home in the video above, Austen steps into the primary bathroom and declares, "This is the next area of the house that I need to do."
"So, my next project will be the bathroom," he continues. "Unless I decide to buy another house."
Here, see what Austen's bathroom looks like now:
Austen Kroll reveals his past home upgrades
In the video above, Austen details some of the home improvements he has already made. In his kitchen, he added an eye-catching chandelier, courtesy of his mother, and his living room is now anchored by a beautiful new $12,000 couch.
"Couches are expensive," he explained. "And I did not realize that at all."
Of course, that's not the only home investment Austen has made. In 2023, he told BravoTV.com, "Now that I have three bedrooms, I spend more money on bedding than I do on hair and face products combined."
Two of those bedrooms (the guest rooms) were beautifully designed by Rodrigo. "You'll see the flare that he added to both rooms," Austen explains in the clip. However, when it came to designing his bedroom, Austen admits, "I didn't listen to a thing that he said about my room."
The home actually has four bedrooms, one of which Austen turned into an office. "It's one of my absolute favorite rooms in the house," he says while showing off his workspace. "I used to podcast here every other day with Craig [Conover], Pillows and Beer, maybe we will again."
Austen Kroll reveals the feature that convinced him to buy his house
Although Austen has been making improvements to the house, he fell in love with it in its original form from the moment he saw it in 2021.
"This was the very first house that I saw and I knew that I wanted it because when I walked in, the ceilings are 10 feet [high]," he says in the clip. "And I don't know if you've heard, but I'm a particularly large gentleman."
