Southern Charm's Austen Kroll is soaking up his final moments of 2024 in the Caribbean sun with his girlfriend, Audrey Pratt.
Austen Kroll and his girlfriend, Audrey Pratt, are ending 2024 in the best way possible — on vacation. The Southern Charm cast member spent the holiday season with his family and his girlfriend of one year in paradise, and it looks so dreamy.
Austen has been posting to his Instagram Story over the past week, documenting his vacation to the Virgin Islands that he took with his parents and younger sister, Katie Kroll, for Christmas. This trip was a long time coming, he revealed in one post to his Instagram Story last week. "Last Christmas Eve our two families were being 'Merry' and said, 'Next year, the Virgin Islands!'" he wrote over a snapshot, toasting to the holidays.
They were able to make this a reality, heading to St. John last week to celebrate Christmas where they hung out on the beach, relaxed, drank, and took in all of the beautiful sights that the Caribbean had to offer. Audrey, of course, joined Austen and his family on this gorgeous getaway.
Austen and Audrey went all the way "from Sullivan's Island to the Virgin Islands" where they took pictures of "obligatory signs," hung out on a boat, and made vows to visit the Virgin Islands again. It's almost as if he doesn't want to leave at all. "We'll be back," Austen captioned one photo of his view while hanging out on a boat.
Is Austen Kroll ready to get engaged?
Although Audrey was able to join Austen and his family for the holidays, getting engaged isn't quite in the couple's plans yet. "We're not putting pressure on something like that so soon," Austen explained to E! News. "In my opinion, far too early. But we're just having fun and enjoying each other as much as possible."
He shared a similar sentiment about proposing marriage or even to live together when speaking to The Daily Dish in December
"Where do I see it going? I mean, look — there is no pressure whatsoever, and I'm not putting pressure on this of, like, when are you gonna move here or what are we gonna do? At the moment, it is just working the way that it should work," he said. "It's a three-hour drive, and we typically don't wait too long to see each other, right? Unless it's like, completely out of our control, but we typically see each other every week."
"We haven't really even breached that subject. She's gonna live in Charlotte for another year. And that's completely fine because there's no rush to me. I am certainly one of those people [who] would take, like, three years before I even began to think about popping a question or, you know, something like that," Austen continued, before adding that after Audrey's next lease is up, it would be about two years into their relationship.
"[At] the moment, we're just reaching a year and we are just focusing on enjoying each other," he concluded.
Even dating Audrey was a big step for the Trop Hop founder. "I've been afraid of the big ole 'C' word for a long time — the 'C' word being commitment, of course," he continued. "And I think that when you watch a show that you're on, you're certainly looking at yourself in the mirror or there's a big mirror held up in front of your face. And with long talks with my therapist, I realized commitment is exactly what I was ready for upon meeting the right person."
"And I met the right person and couldn't ignore it, to be honest," he concluded.
Who is Austen's girlfriend, Audrey?
While Austen might be in the public eye, his girlfriend tends to keep a much lower profile than him. But, during the premiere of Southern Charm Season 10, Austen revealed that Audrey currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, making their relationship long distance.
They also have some pretty sweet nicknames for one another. "There's pooks, there's pookie monster, there's pookapotamous," Austen explained during a confessional in the premiere. "It's still weird to tell people, like, 'Hey, this is my girlfriend. This is my girlfriend, Audrey.' You know, for me, definitely, it is a big step."
