Ashley Jacobs Shares a New Look at Her Life in “Paradise” with Her Kids & Husband (PHOTOS)
The Southern Charm alum is giving a peek inside her dreamy life in California with her two sons and husband, Mike Appel.
Ashley Jacobs certainly has a slice of "paradise" in Santa Barbara, California where she calls home. Since moving out of Charleston several years ago, the Southern Charm alum got married to husband Mike Appel, had two kids, and is living her best life.
Ashley took to her Instagram Story on Thursday, Jan. 2, where she shared that she was on a walk with her older son, Grayson Maxwell Appel, and her newborn son, who she gave birth to in early November. In the snapshots, Ashley can be seen walking on a path parallel to the beach, while wearing the baby against her chest. Grayson, on the other hand, looked so happy to be riding in his electronic red tractor next to his mom and baby brother. "Beautiful day for a tractor ride," Ashley wrote over the photo of Grayson, as she smiled in the foreground.
2025 is certainly off to a good start for the family of four. Even Ashley can't get over how gorgeous her walks with her two boys are. "We live in paradise," she captioned the snapshot of Grayson, riding his red tractor in front of a grove of palm trees.
But, Ashley was just a bit hesitant to say goodbye to the previous year. In the photo from her New Year's Eve celebration, Mike can be seen wearing a sports coat and "Happy New Year" glasses, holding their newborn against a backdrop of streamers. "2024 was good to us," Ashley noted in the caption.

2024 was good to Ashley and her family. Not only did she welcome her second child into the world, but she also said "goodbye" to her 30s on Dec. 1. Ashley took to her Instagram account at the time, where she posted a series of photos (taken by her husband) of her wearing matching pajamas with her two boys, kissing her sons.
"KISSING MY THIRTIES GOODBYE (But look at what my thirties gave to me!)," she wrote in the caption of the post.

Before she was living in her West Coast paradise, Ashley was living in the East Coast paradise of Charleston. During her time in Charleston, she appeared on Seasons 5 and 6 of Southern Charm. During a sit-down with BravoTV.com, as seen in the video above, Whitney revealed why casting Ashley in Season 5 made such an impact on the show's trajectory.
"It's amazing. We've been quite lucky, too. Just when you think someone's played out, or a storyline is dead or something, something f--king insane or somebody comes up from out of the darkness," he explained in the video above. "Season 5, we were getting stale [and] suddenly out of nowhere comes Ashley. Riveting television."
