As Ashley shared during the Season 9 premiere, which aired on October 6, she finally feels ready to formalize her split from the entrepreneur, who she shares sons Dean Michael and Dylan Matthew Darby with.

"Before, I was kind of dragging my feet a little because I was just content with where things were. I'm ready to start dating," she told her lawyer in the first episode as the pair discussed the possibility of going to mediation.

After taking some time to work out her co-parenting relationship with Michael, who she split from in April 2022 after eight years of marriage, Ashley noted that she is "ready to fully proceed with [her] divorce."

Are Ashley Darby and husband Michael Darby divorced?

Ashley was gearing up to do mediation with Michael on the RHOP Season 9 premiere, but the two are still not divorced

As the GnA co-founder said on the premiere, she knew what she wanted to accomplish on her end with a custody agreement, but she wasn't sure what Michael was thinking.

Viewers will have to stay tuned to RHOP Season 9 to find out what happened in Ashley and Michael's mediation journey, but she did reveal that she is on fairly good terms with her estranged husband. "I wouldn't say Michael and I are friends now, but we are cordial, and we are co-parenting well," she said on the show.

Who is Ashley Darby dating?

Moving forward for Ashley means getting back out in the dating scene. "I am very open. I feel like I gotta test drive some cars and I'm ready to get in as many driver's seats as is necessary in order to find the right person for me," Ashley joked in an interview on RHOP about taking the next step in her personal life. "Vroom, vroom baby. Vroom vroom."

Ashley has yet to go public with any romantic relationship at this time (she last dated Summer House and Winter House alum Luke Gulbranson in 2022)  — though the RHOP Season 9 trailer teases that she found someone special during filming.
