Asa Soltan Rahmati Shares a Rare Family Photo with Her Partner, Jermaine Jackson Jr., and Their Son
The Shahs of Sunset mom was all smiles as she and her family headed into 2025.
Asa Soltan Rahmati kicked off the new year with a message of positivity and a rare look at her family.
Since exiting Shahs of Sunset after Season 6 (2017), the multi-hyphenate has kept her private life… well, pretty private. That’s why fans were so delighted to see her New Year’s Day Instagram post, which captured her and her partner, Jermaine Jackson Jr., posing alongside their young son, Soltan.

“Happy new year Beautiful Ones. I wish you all the best in 2025, from Our family to yours,” Asa captioned the January 1 post. “The energy for 2025 is alignment with God, Magic, Art, and Healing. Big energy shifts from the status quo and spiritual clarity to change and elevate. Absolute surrender to the alignment of your fate. Do the internal work, radiate from within and ALIGN with everything that’s meant for you.”
The photo showed the kaftan designer wearing a flowy orange garment, multiple rings, a gold headpiece, and Valentino Garavani ankle boots. Asa’s kaftan perfectly matched her son’s vibrant ensemble, which stood in stark contrast to Jermaine’s all-black look.
Why Asa's partner, Jermaine, rarely appeared on Shahs of Sunset
Asa and Jermaine’s relationship dates back to their teenage years. The two met while attending high school together when Asa was 15; however, they didn’t start dating until 2010, about two years before Shahs of Sunset’s inaugural season. Although Asa’s parents were prominently featured on the Bravo series, fans rarely got a glimpse at her life with Jermaine, who is the son of Jermaine Jackson Sr., and the nephew of Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson.
Asa touched on her romantic relationship in Life After Bravo Season 2, Episode 6, explaining why fans rarely saw Jermaine on Shahs of Sunset.
“I have immense respect for the people in my life, like my family,” she said. “I had these issues from the beginning where I didn’t want to impose this type of experience (being on reality TV) on people who didn’t sign up for it, basically. From the beginning, it was clear Jermaine and I had been together for a decade. We actually started going out right when Shahs (started filming)… And he was against it from the beginning but, of course, he lets me make my own decisions.”

Roughly seven years into their romance, Asa and Jermaine welcomed Soltan. The mother of one announced the exciting news in a January 23, 2017, Instagram photo of her and Jermaine.
“Lovers. We gave birth to our precious son on January 20th 2017,” she captioned the post. “His name is Soltan Jackson and we are completely in Love with him. Mami, Baby, and Daddy are all doing well. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your well wishes and prayers. We are literally in heaven with our precious Soltan.”
