The Shahs of Sunset cast member's girlfriend reflected on their relationship as they spent New Year's Eve together.
In case you were wondering, Mike Shouhed and girlfriend Paulina Ben-Cohen were by each other's side to on New Year's Eve. As they counted down the end of 2020 and the start of 2021, Paulina reflected on the couple's last 12 months on Instagram, writing, "2020 taught us to make the most of today and every day we are given. Tomorrow is not promised."
The couple went public with their romance last year during Season 8 of Shahs of Sunset where fans got to know more aout their relationship. And it was clear from the moment Mike opened up about Paulina on the show that he knew he had met his match. "I found my soulmate," he shared in the season. "How did this happen?"
Also in the season, Mike said, "Paulina, that's my girlfriend. She's the love of my life. She's 28. First time I ever dated a Persian girl. First time I ever dated a Jewish girl," he said about sharing a similar background to the mother of two (Mike is also Persian and Jewish). He also noted that the relationship "completely changed my vibe."
Late last year, Paulina shared a similar sentiment when celebrating Mike's birthday, writing on Instagram, "Happy birthday to my best friend and soul mate. I love you more than you will ever know."
Well, it's pretty obvious that all this time later, Mike still feels just as strongly about his girlfriend. When sharing a photo of Paulina in the pool just weeks ago, he captioned it, "I can stare at you for ever."
