Anwar Hadid and Dua Lipa Welcome a New Family Member

Yolanda Hadid is welcoming a new member to her family, courtesy of her son, Anwar Hadid. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum’s son and his girlfriend, Dua Lipa, have adopted a new puppy together, as they confirmed on Instagram.

Anwar and Lipa both recently took to social media to introduce world to their adorable new pooch, Dex. In a series of photos posted on July 31, Dex can be seen riding in the car with the couple and playing outdoors. “Our spirit companion came to us with a big number 7 on his chest.. some things are meant 2 be !!!!!!! BIIG DEX,” Anwar wrote in the caption alongside the pictures.

Lipa also shared several photos of the puppy from her own account, writing, “Our tiny bestfriend Dexter!!!” She also went on to credit the animal organization that they rescued him from, adding, “Thank you @thelabellefoundation, HE’S PERFECT.”

Anwar and Lipa have been dating for nearly a year — and it looks like Anwar’s family members are as thrilled as they are about the couple’s latest addition. Yolanda responded to her son’s Instagram post with a heart emoji, while Anwar’s sister Gigi Hadid commented on Lipa’s post, writing, “My nephew [is] a very good boy.”
